BRENHAM GAME CHANGERS CONDUCTS MOCK INTERVIEWS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Game changers story smallForty-four Brenham High School students came to the Cannery Kitchen on Monday night “Dressed for Success.”  Vinessa Mundorff and Arika Castle Berry from Sam Houston State University’s Career Center conducted a training session focused on interviewing and tips on filling out applications.

Following the training session the students engaged in one-on-one interviews with twenty-five (25) human resources and business leaders in Washington County to include such companies as Germania, Appel Ford, Blue Bell, BISD, NOV Artex, Moorman Tate Law Firm, and Spherion.

Michael Groves of NOV Artex Group LLC and event coordinator tells what happened to the students during that time.

The students were all very thankful for the opportunity to gain interviewing experience, and as one student said, "Now my first interview, won't be my first interview".

The event was as a follow-up to an Etiquette Dinner held in February.  To volunteer for future event or get more information go to www.brenhamgamechangers.com or follow us on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook. Game changers story
