BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR AND CHORALE RECEIVE SWEEPSTAKES RATING AT UIL COMPETITION
The Brenham High School Varsity Mixed Choir, Chorale earned the sweepstakes at the UIL Regional Concert an Sight Reading Contest in Houston.
Sweepstakes requires a rating of ‘1’ from both panels of judges and is the highest award given at this type of competition.
The Chorale has won sweepstakes two years in a row, though this year their difficult repertoire was entirely a capella.
The Choir and Chorale are under the direction of Carol Perry.
