BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL MCJROTC TEAM EARNS NATIONAL RECOGNITION

  

The Brenham High School MCJROTC Drill Team earned national recognition on Saturday, placing third overall at the 2017 National Championships.

A total of 15 schools from throughout the US attended the meet held in Irving.

The group earned the following honors at the national level: 2nd place academic team, 2nd place unarmed regulation drill team, 3rd place armed regulation drill team, and 3rd place drill inspection.

The team earned the right to compete at the national level by placing second overall at the Region 5 MCJROTC Drill Meet.

The top 3 teams from the Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas region advanced to the national level.
