BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL PREPARES FOR POSSIBLE INDOOR GRADUATION

  

More inclement weather is expected later this week.

That could mean an indoor graduation for Brenham High School.

Presently the commencement exercises are set for 8:00 Saturday night at Cubs Stadium.  However, there is an 80-percent chance of rain in the forecast.

If the rains force an indoor graduation, it will be held Saturday night in the High School Auditorium.

According to Assistant Principal Allison Crowson, each student would be allotted a limited number of tickets for the auditorium.

Large screens would be set up inside the Brenham High School Gymnasium to handle any overflow crowd.

Crowson says a decision would not be made until Friday afternoon at the earliest.

Students will practice for a possible indoor graduation Wednesday morning.

Parents will be informed of any decision – which will also be posted on the BISD website.

KWHI will have a live broadcast of Saturday night’s commencement.
