BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS RECEIVE PHOTOGRAPHY HONORS

  

Brenham High School junior Amanda Garza and sophomore Tyler Nienstedt each won an Honorable Mention in the Photography Division at this year's Regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Students from three states in the Southwest Region competed in the competition.  Only 110 Photography prizes were awarded in the competition.

Amanda Garza won for her photo titled "Glasses Upon a Sill" and Tyler Nienstedt's photo called "I Got Winded While Walking Up This" also won an Honorable Mention. Both Garza and Nienstedt are members of the 2018 Brenhamite Yearbook staff at Brenham High School.  Photos of the students and their work can be viewed at kwhi.com.
