BRENHAM ISD PARTNERS TO PROVIDE CARDIAC SCREENINGS FOR ATHLETES

Brenham ISD athletics is partnering with “Who We Play For” to host a cardiac screening event at Brenham High School on Tuesday.

This opportunity is being offered to incoming 7th-12th graders who currently participate in or plan to participate in a UIL activity in the 2017-18 school year.

This optional screening is open to student athletes, band, ROTC, cheer, and drill team, but is not required for participation in these UIL activities.

The electrocardiogram (ECG) screening is completely free of cost, and will take place during the school day at Brenham High School.

Brenham Middle School students will need to be transported by a parent or guardian to Brenham High School for the screening. Brenham Junior High School students will be bused over by a coach.

The consent form must be filled out completely and returned to Audrey Victor (located at BHS - avictor@brenhamk-12.net) by today (Friday). Informational packets and consent forms are available for pick-up at Brenham High School or can be downloaded from the BISD website at www.brenhamisd.net.

Questions can be directed to Audrey Victor at BHS - avictor@brenhamk-12.net.
