BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AFTER DISTURBANCE

  

A Brenham man faces several charges after his arrest during a disturbance early Saturday morning.

Just after 6:30, Officer Terrence Johnson responded to the 1000 Block of West Main St., in reference to a reported disturbance.

While Officers were speaking with 31-year old Deandrea Lavan Phillips, they discovered that he had active felony warrants for his arrest.

Once officers advised him of the warrants Phillips reportedly fled on foot.   Johnson reportedly caught up to Phillips as he was jumping over a fence, and deployed his Taser on the suspect and he was placed under arrest.

Phillips is charged with: two warrants for Criminal Non-support and Evading Arrest.
