BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY DRIVING STOLEN VEHICLE
On Friday, December 5th, Brenham Police arrested a suspect charged with Evading Arrest, Detention with Prior Conviction, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Driving While License Invalid, and Possession of Drug Paraphenalia.
Arrested was 33-year old Thomas Reek, Jr. driving a white BMW was reported stolen out of Harris County.
Police observed Reek leaving a residence in the 400 Block of S. Market with the alleged stolen vehicle, tried to pull him over, but Reek refused. Reek was chased to Mill Creek Road, where road spikes at Lange Rd and Highway 290 W were placed across the road, and Reek finally stopped.
When the vehicle was stopped, police found drug residue in the vehicle.
Reek was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.
