BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man was taken into custody, after allegedly threatening a family member with a knife.
21-year old Matthew Garcia of Brenham is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Monday afternoon, shortly after 12:30, Sgt. Seth Klehm responded to the 2400 block of St. Market in reference to a weapons call.
The caller told police that Garcia had threatened him with a knife.
Garcia was arrested and the incident is under investigation.
