BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR D.W.I. FOLLOWING ACCIDENT

A Brenham man faces charges after an accident over the weekend.
Saturday morning, just after midnight, Corporal Jonathan Phipps responded to an accident in the 1400 block of E. Blue Bell Rd.
At the scene, Phipps found that 70-year old Donald Wayne Lampe of Brenham had allegedly struck a parked vehicle that was unoccupied.
A field sobriety test was administered to Lampe who was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
Lampe was taken to the Washington County Jail.
