BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION CHARGE

  

A Brenham man faces a drug possession charge after his arrest early Monday morning.

30-year old Juan Carlos Contreras is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Monday morning around 5:30, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer responded to a welfare concern in the WalMart parking lot.

The caller said a vehicle was parked in the lot and had been running for some time. When Dudenhoeffer approached the vehicle, he found a man and woman asleep in the front seats.

During the course of the investigation, Dudenhoeffer located Xanax pills.

Contreras is charged with Possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams
