BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY

A Brenham man has been arrested in connection with a local robbery.

27-year-old Jamarcus Maurice Andrews was wanted in connection to an aggravated robbery that occurred last week.

Around 11:50 p.m. on May 31, officers with the Brenham Police Department were dispatched to the Dairy Queen at 904 S. Market St. in response to the robbery.  Upon further investigation, it was determined that Andrews was directly connected to the robbery.

The BPD issued an Aggravated Robbery Warrant yesterday (Tuesday) for Andrews, and he was later located and placed in custody for the warrant.

Andrews is being held at the Washington County Jail.
