BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR TRYING TO RUN FROM POLICE

A Brenham man faces an evading arrest charge after trying to flee police Saturday night.
34-year old Roalnd O’Keith Branch of Brenham was pulled over Saturday night around 8:15 for a traffic stop.
According to Brenham Police Officer Jonathan Phipps, he found cocaine in Branch’s vehicle during a search.
Branch tried to flee on foot and was caught after a brief chase.
Branch is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest with a Prior Conviction.
