BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON ASSAULT AND THREAT CHARGES

  

A Brenham man was taken custody Saturday afternoon, after his arrest on assault and threat charges.

Saturday afternoon, just after 2:30, Brenham Police were dispatched to the 900 Block of Ben Dr., to a disturbance call.

32-year old Brian Thomas Welch of Brenham, was reportedly involved in a verbal argument that turned physical.  According to police, Welch also made a terroristic threat towards another party.

Welch was taken into custody and charged with Assault Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member and Terroristic Threat of a Family Member.

Welch was booked into the Washington County Jail.
