BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON BRAZOS COUNTY WARRANT
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Washington County man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant from Brazos County.
31-year old Tyrone Earl Gantt of Washington, is charged with Burglary of a Habitation.
Tuesday morning, just before 8:30, Corporal Richard Bobbitt located Gantt in the 500 Block of East Blue Bell Road.
Bobbitt says he recognized Gantt as the same person that two other officers had checked for local warrants on a short time earlier and learned that he had an active warrant out for his arrest.
Cpl. Bobbitt confirmed the warrant and placed Gantt in custody and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
