BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES
A Brenham man faces numerous charges after his arrest Friday afternoon by local police.

Just before 1:00 p.m. Friday, Cpl. Lance Weiss and Officer Sierra Newell were called out to the 1500 block of Farewell in reference to a disturbance.
The caller said a man and woman were involved in a fight over their child.
Authorities say the father, 28-year old Claude Leroy Cunningham of Brenham, was holding his daughter at the time of the physical altercation.
The child sustained an injury to her right eye during the incident.
Sgt. Kelvin Raven and Investigator Eddie Ocanas also arrived at the scene and during a search of Cunningham, found five tablets of morphine in his front pocket.
Cunningham is charged with: Possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram, Assault family violence and Injury to a child.
Cunningham’s daughter did not require medical attention for her injury.
