BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man faces multiple charges after his arrest Thursday afternoon.
52-year old Calvin Basey Sr. faces numerous charges after an alleged assault.
Police were called to the 1100 Block of Ewing where Basey allegedly struck his wife then chased three other people with a machete.
He then fled the scene in a vehicle, but was quickly apprehended.
Basey is charged with: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon; Assault/Family Violence with a Prior Conviction and Evading Arrest with a Vehicle.
