BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON NUMEROUS CHARGES

A Brenham man faces multiple charges after his arrest Sunday afternoon.
During the noon hour, Brenham Police were called to a theft in the 200 block of Highway 290 West.
According to Officer Eddie Martinez, the supect—identified as 33-year old Glenward Ray Jackson of Brenham—fled back into the store, where he was quickly apprehended.
He was charged with Theft, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Failure to ID and Intent to Give False Information.
Further investigation revealed that Jackson was also wanted on two outstanding warrants from the City of Brenham for Debit Card Abuse.
