BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man faces charges after his arrest Tuesday afternoon on an assault charge.
Cpl. Jose Perez and Ofc. Ashley Burns responded to the 2000 block of S. Market Street to a reported Assault.
Officers talked with the victim, who they report had visible signs of injury.
The woman told the officers that 35-year old Billy Wesley Howard of Brenham assaulted her before leaving the scene.
Officers located Howard in the area and took him into custody.
He is charged with Family Violence Assault Causing Bodily Injury. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
