BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH EVADING ARREST
A Brenham man faces two charges after his arrest early Sunday morning.
Sunday, just after 12:30 a.m., Officer Hunter Andras responded to the 800 block of First Street in reference to a suspicious person.
The caller said a male was sitting under the carport in the back of their residence.
The caller said the man said he was waiting for a ride, but had been there for more than 15 minutes.
As Andras and Sgt. Jason Derrick arrived, the man turned and started running.
Officers were able to detain the man in the 500 block of Green St.
33-year old Shawn David McNeil of Brenham is charged with Evading arrest and Public intoxication.
