BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH RESISTING POLICE

A Brenham man faces several charges including Resisting Arrest after an incident Thursday afternoon.
Around 2:30 pm Corporal Joseph Merkley was dispatched to the 300 block of West Jefferson Street in reference to a disturbance.
Authorities found the suspect, 20-year old Terrell Tolbert Jr. of Brenham, in the 500 block of West Jefferson.
Tolbert was shown to have two felony warrants for his arrest.
While officers attempted to arrest him, Tolbert reportedly, resisted arrest. He was subdues and charged with Resisting Arrest and the two felony warrants for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and Tampering with Physical evidence.
Tolbert was taken to the Washington Co. Jail.
