BRENHAM MAN FACES CHARGES AFTER HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

  

A Brenham man is behind bars after his arrest on multiple charges.

23-year old Blake Edward Robinson was arrested after a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night in the 1000 block of Thiel Street, near Highway 105.

Police were called to the scene around 7 p.m.

Officer Jose Perez reports that it was an auto-pedestrian accident and says the driver had fled on foot.

Perez and other officers were able to locate Robinson, who was arrested.

He is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon; Failure to stop and render aid and an outstanding warrant for possession of marijuana.
