BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED ON ASSAULT CHARGE
A Brenham man has been sentenced to three years in prison after his conviction in 21st District Court.
28-year old Joshua Wayne Wall of Brenham was sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell, after he pleaded guilty to Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Wall was arrested on August 22nd of last year for an incident involving a Brenham woman.
Wall must also pay a $500 fine and a $100 family violence fee.
Also in 21st District Court:
20-year old Terry Dewayne Rogers of Brenham was sentenced to three years in prison on a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
Rogers was arrested in Brenham along with two others nearly a year ago in connection with several thefts out of Brazos County.
During a search of the suspects’ vehicle a loaded handgun was found.
Rogers was also fined $500.
21-year old Tracy Nicole Moore of Brenham was placed on five years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.
Moore was also fined $1500 and must perform 150 hours of community service. He must also attend a drug offender education program.
And, 48-year old Dawn Thompson of Willis was placed on four years’ probation and fined $1000 for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Thompson must also perform 80 hours of community service.
