  1. As scary as it sounds to have a sex offender on probation, I am actually fine with a court system that considers each case on a case-by-case basis. I think this is a better outcome, sometimes, than sending the person to prison for just a couple of years and them get out on parole in just a couple of months. At least someone will know where he is for the next 10 years.

This is probably good for the child, too, so they don’t have to go through the horror of a trial and run the risk of the guy being found not guilty. I bet there’s some weird scenario where the victim doesn’t want to testify or they can’t find the kid or the officer isn’t around anymore or something like that. The judges in Washington County are usually pretty tough on this stuff. I would bet that the person who had to make the decision on how to punish the guy had a tough time uttering the words “probation” on this type of case.

  2. Probabley first offense; during those 10 years of probation he’ll have to be very cautious about any wrong doing …

  3. I’m still trying to see who are the Judges and what are there doing to get time like this Ain’t this scary for Us. Are who’s in the courtroom

  4. This is sad, if u sell or possess drugs in Washington County, you will receive prison time. But if u force your sexual deviance on an innocent child, don’t worry, you will receive probation and/or told to leave the county. Once you are gone from the county, you definitely can return to see your doctors.

    1. Exactly!! But sentenced a man 60 year because girlfriend said he rape her really n this dude sexual assult a child n get 10 years wow!!!

    1. Deferred adjudication too! Which means if he completes probation it won’t be on his record. Prolly won’t even have to register as sex offender. And someone got 8 years prison for tampering with evidence! Something is not right with this.

      1. Registration is not really up to the County, it’s up to the State of Texas, and that guy will be registered for life.
