BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED TO 18 YEARS FOR DRUG CONVICTION
A Brenham man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison on a drug charge.
30-year old Damario Lakendrick Mosley of Brenham was sentenced to 18 years behind bars on a charge of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance – a First Degree Felony.
Mosely was also sentenced to two years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
20-year old Matthew Colin Decuir was arrested last November on a charge of Criminal Mischief with a Deadly Weapon between $2500 and $30,000. He was sentenced to six years in prison and fined $1000. He was also ordered to pay $6500 in restitution.
Decuir was also sentenced to six years in prison for a June arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
He was also sentenced to 180 days behind bars for Possession of Marijuana.
Also in District Court:
25-year old Art Musgrove of Waller was sentenced to six years in prison for his 2015 arrest for Theft of Property Between $20,000-and-$100,000. The charge was enhanced to a Second Degree Felony.
Musgrove was also fined, $1500.
26-year old Dilion Wayne Johnson of Magnolia was sentenced to two years in prison for Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle – a Third Degree Felony.
36-year old Brittany B. Cook of Bellville was sentenced to 180 days in jail for Possession Controlled Substance
23-year old Emilie Jordan Welsh of Austin was placed on six years’ probation for Tampering with Physical Evidence.
She was also fined $2000 and ordered to perform 200 hours of Community Service. She must also attend a drug offender education program and a drug/alcohol evaluation treatment program.
19-year old Heather Reshae Basnaw of Brenham was placed on five years’ probation for Burglary of Habitation.
She was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 150 hours of Community Service.
And, 74-year old John Robert Scott of Brenham was placed on two years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to perform 200 hours Community Service.
