BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS IN PRISON
A Brenham man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty in 21st District Court.
23-year old Edras Madrid pleaded guilty ot a 2013 charge of Injury to a Child—a third degree felony. He was sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell to three years in prison.
Madrid also plead guilty to Theft between $1500-and-$20,000. He was sentenced to 12 months behind bars on that charge.
Also in 21st District Court, Thursday:
19-year old Victoria Lynette Folsom had her 2015 probation for Criminal Mischief between $1500-and-$20,000 adjudicated. She was sentenced to two years in prison and fined $1,000.
32-year old Carlos Ramirez had his probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance adjudicated. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison and fined $943.
50-year old Charlotte Neuman of Brenham was sentenced to seven months in jail on each of two charges: Credit/Debit Card Abuse and Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was charged with the Credit Card case in February of this year and with Possession in May.
34-year old Charlie Doris Jackson of Houston received five years’ probation and was fined $1500 for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon for his arrest in March of 2016. He was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service and undergo drug and alcohol treatment.
And, 39-year old Daphne Paris of Brenham was placed on four years’ probation and fined $1500 for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Paris must also perform 160 hours of community service and undergo drug and alcohol treatment.
