BRENHAM MAN/WOMAN FACE ASSAULT CHARGES
Two Brenham residents face assault charges after their arrests Sunday afternoon.
Police were called out at about 4:45 Sunday afternoon, to the 2400 Block of South Day near Medical Courts, where the north entrance to the property was blocked by a vehicle.
The caller told police the two people in the vehicle appeared to be fighting, and that the woman behind the wheel attempted to hit the man with the car.
Corporal Seth Klehm was able to locate 21-year old Patrick Bennett of Brenham walking north on South Day. Bennett told Klehm he’d gotten into a fight with his girlfriend, 25-year old June Jackson.
Moments later, Jackson drove up in her vehicle and told Klehm that Bennett had struck her in the face…however, she also admitted she’d tried to hit him with her car.
Jackson was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon—a first class felony. Bennett was charged with Assault.
Sad but true I hate to burst your bubble but June Jackson daddy was in her life
seems to me that most of the articles about crime is done by young african americans and i would assume these criminals were raised without a father.it’s time for men to step up and share the responsiblity in raising their children. that goes for men of all races
