BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON BRAZOS CO. WARRANT

Brenham Police have arrested a man wanted on warrants out of Brazos County.

Friday afternoon, Cpl. Jared Campbell was notified that a Brenham man had called stating he had heard he was a suspect in a robbery that had just occurred on FM 50 and wished to speak to an officer to clear his name.

Campbell, along with other Brenham officers and Sheriff’s deputies, had been searching the area for the vehicle wanted in connection with the robbery.

The female victim identified one of the suspects as 26-year old Warden James Jackson of Brenham, the same man who had called Dispatch.

Campbell, along with Officer Terrance Johnson and Sheriff’s Investigator Clay Bosse found Jackson in the 1500 block of Farewell St.

He was arrested on a warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Injury/Bond Surrender – out of Brazos County. The robbery case is still under investigation.
