BRENHAM P.D. CALLED TO EARLY MORNING BURGLARY
Brenham Police are investigating an early-morning burglary at a Brenham business.
Just before 2 a.m., Cpl. Jared Campbell responded to an alarm call to Westwood Shell, in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West.
Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies were also on scene and searched the building.
Campbell says it appeared the suspects stole cigarettes but the owner is still inventorying the store.
The incident is under investigation.
