BRENHAM P.D. CHARGES CALIFORNIA MAN WITH DWI AFTER ACCIDENT

A California man is charged locally with Driving While Intoxicated after an early-morning accident, Friday.
Just past midnight, Cpl. Steven Eilert and Cpl. Chris Jackson responded to the 700 block of Medical Parkway in reference to an intoxicated person attempting to leave in his vehicle.
In the process of trying to leave, 60-year old Douglas Cameron Peyton of Woodland, California, reportedly struck another vehicle with his car.
Eilert administered a field sobriety test which he says Peyton was unable to perform.
Peyton is charged with Driving while intoxicated.
