BRENHAM P.D. INVESTIGATES BURGLARIES

  

Brenham Police are investigating a pair of burglaries reported Thursday.

Thursday night, just before 10:00, 24-year old Wesley Adam Johnson of Pattison was arrested after police found him inside a home in the 300 block of Clayton Drive.

According to police, Johnson had been in a relationship with the resident but they had broken up and he did not have her permission to be inside the house.

Johnson told police he’d returned to pick up some of his belongings.

Johnson was arrested and charged with Burglary of a habitation.

Thursday morning at 9:00, Sergeant Seth Klehm responded to Atkinson Auto Insurance and Kutz Barber Shop in the 2200 Block of Highway 290 East.

The caller reported that the two separate businesses had been broken into.

Two pairs of clippers are reported stolen from Kutz Barber Shop, while a cash box with an undetermined amount of cash was taken from Atkinson’s.

The incident remains under investigation.
