BRENHAM P.D. INVESTIGATES BURGLARIES

  

Brenham Police are investigating a number of recent burglaries.

Thursday morning, just after 9:00 a.m., Officer Sierra Newell responded to the 1800 Block of Highway 105, in reference to a burglary of a vehicle.

The caller reported that an unknown suspect forced entry into his vehicle by breaking a window between 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. Thursday.

Several items were stolen, including tools, a TV, and a CB radio.

It is estimated to cost approximately $200 to replace the window and approximately $500 to replace the CB radio.

Thursday night, just after 6:30, Officer Terrence Johnson responded to the 500 Block of E. Main St., in reference to a burglary of a habitation.

The caller reported that sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., someone broke in and stole two flat screen TV’s valued at approximately $400 each, a laptop computer valued at $400, and a Smith & Wesson handgun valued at $300.

There are no suspects at this time.

Friday morning, just after 4:00 a.m. Corporal Steven Eilert responded to an alarm at Creekside Veterinary Clinic in the 1900 Block of Highway 105.

Forced entry had been made through the front door of the business.  It was unknown if anything was missing.

It was estimated to cost approximately $500.00 to replace the broken door and door frame.

The Investigation continues.
