BRENHAM P.D. INVESTIGATES STOLEN CARS
Brenham police are looking for two vehicles reported stolen over the holiday weekend.
Friday morning, at 9 a.m., Officer Kejan Mehlhorn was called to the 1400 block of Highway 290 West.
The caller said their 2009 VW Jetta was last seen the night before.
Saturday night, around 7:30, Cpl. Todd Ashorn was called to Los Cabos Restaurant in the 2800 block of Highway 36 South in reference to a stolen vehicle.
The caller said someone had stolen his 2001 Ford pickup from the parking lot.
The vehicle contained a laptop and approximately $1,000 in power tools.
Both cases are currently under investigation.
