BRENHAM P.D. INVESTIGATES TRIO OF CRIMES

  

Brenham police are investigating a theft that was reported Monday morning.

According to Cpl. Todd Ashorn, two wheels and tires were reported stolen from a location in the 1400 block of Highway 290 West.

Ashorn reports that the theft occurred sometime between Friday night and Monday morning.

Police are also investigating a pair of local burglaries.

Officer Ashley Burns was called out to the 2000 block of FM 389 just after 10:00, Monday morning.

Taken was a push lawn mower from a storage shed.

Monday afternoon, Officer Sierra Newell was called to a burglary of a vehicle in the 1900 block of Northview Circle.

Someone had taken a purse from the car as it was parked between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Newell says entry was likely made through a partially-open window.
