BRENHAM P.D. MAKES TWO DRUG ARRESTS
Brenham police arrested two people on separate drug possession charges.
Thursday morning, around 9:00, Officer Kijan Mehlhorn pulled over a vehicle in the 1800 block of US Hwy 290 East.
Melhorn says he detected a strong odor of marijuana. A search turned up marijuana and other narcotics.
28-year old Gwendolyn Keshawn Tealer of Tomball is charged with Possession of Marijuana and two counts of Possession of a dangerous drug.
Thursday, around 11:00 pm, Officer Jonathan Phipps conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of 290 West.
29-year old Stephen Michael Mercantel of Austin was charged with Possession of Marijuana.
