BRENHAM PET ADOPTION RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY TODAY

The new Brenham Pet Adoption Center will have its ribbon cutting  ceremony today (Monday).

The construction on the 2.7 million dollar facility began in 2015.  The adoption center features separate areas for animal control and pet adoption, so aggressive of diseased animals do not come into contact with animals that are up for adoption.   animal-shelter-feature

The shelter also features both indoor and outdoor “life areas” where families and interact with potential adoptive animals.

The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. today at 1804 Longwood Drive.

The public is invited on November 13th to an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Shelter staff will be available to provide tours, answer questions and maybe even help pick out that new pet. Refreshments and sausage wraps from Kountry Boys Sausage will be served until supplies last.
