BRENHAM PILOT CLUB TO SPONSOR “VIAL OF LIFE”

The Brenham Pilot Club has begun a project to help make medical information more readily available for emergency personnel.

Called "The Vial of Life", the project involves distributing what looks like a large medicine bottle to members of our community. The Vial of Life contains a form that ask for information on your medical conditions, emergency contacts, and what medicines you take. You can also put a Living Will or equivalent, any Do Not Resuscitate documentation or any other papers you feel are important.

You then put the provided decal on the front of a plastic bag that contains this information on the baggie, which then goes in the door of your refrigerator, and put the second decal on your front door so it can be easily seen by emergency personnel.

Terry Brieden, Project Coordinator with the Pilot Club of Brenham says that everyone could benefit from this, especially senior citizens.
