  1. The plight of changes by the city of Brenham planning manager that have affected Old Mill Creek Road continues. Since everything that could go wrong has gone wrong on Old Mill Creek Road. 1.) The lack of planning for widening the road. 2.) The wrongly approved spot zoning for commercial in a residential area. 3.) Variances for huge apartment buildings. And now, variances and for adjoining properties that create more traffic. Proper planning experience would have allowed the widening of Old Mill Creek Road for all this obvious growth. Boy, the planning department continues to compound the mistake. The elected officials need to restructure this department.

  2. The Smiths do not live in the city limits and variance request does not include property in the city limits. City overreach? Where does it stop?
