BRENHAM PLANNING AND ZONING TO CONSIDER PLAT REQUESTS

  

The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will meet today (Monday) to discuss a number of plat requests.cityhalllocation01

The Commission is expected to approve a final plat to form Sandy Pointe Subdivision, consisting of five residential lots. The Commission is also expected to approve of a preliminary and final plat for Grace Community Fellowship in Brenham. The 5.3 acre tract is being platted to combine several lots into one lot.

The Planning and Zoning Commission will also consider a variance request from Barbara Rudloff. The applicant owns an 11.55 acre tract of land located within the City of Brenham that is located off Industrial Boulevard. The property does not have road frontage but has an access easement to Industrial Boulevard. Rudloff wishes to subdivide this property into two tracts, and is specifically asking for a variance to remove the requirement to have property frontage on a City right-of-way.

The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 5:15 p.m. in the second floor council chambers at City Hall.
