BRENHAM POLICE ARREST ONE FOR MARIJUANA POSESSION

  

The Brenham Police Department arrested one person for possession of marijuana Thursday.

Thursday at 11:30 AM, Officer Jose Perez conducted a traffics stop near the intersection of North Market Street and North Park Street.  Upon contact with the driver, an odor of marijuana was detected and a probable cause search was conducted. Investigation revealed that the driver, Andrew Vasquez, 17 of Brenham was in possession of marijuana.  Vasquez was placed in custody and booked in for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
