Brenham Police Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer was dispatched to the Brenham Wal Mart in reference to the burglary of a vehicle.

He met with the caller, who said his vehicle was in the employee parking lot and saw a female walking from it. She then got into a white Jeep and left.

A second victim said his wallet had been stolen from his car.

While Dudenhoeffer was talking to the second victim, that victim’s mother called and asked why he was spending so much money.

Dudenhoeffer realized the suspects were using the victim’s debit card. Dudenhoeffer gave a description of the vehicle to Sgt. Kelvin Raven, who was eventually able to force the vehicle to stop in the Wal Mart parking lot.

Dudenhoeffer says he saw a brown wallet matching the description of the wallet taken from the second victim in the suspects’ vehicle. The victim’s debit card was also located. Both suspects were arrested.

34-year old Kendahl Marie Main, of Brenham and 41-year old Hector J. Lozano of San Antonio are each charged with two counts of burglary of a vehicle and four counts of credit card abuse.

Main is also charged with failure to stop at designated place, while Lozano also faces a charge of public intoxication.
