BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATE BURGLARIES

  

Brenham Police are investigating a pair of burglaries, reported Monday morning.

At around 6:30 a.m., Officer Jonathan Phipps responded to Porserve Automotive, in the 1700 block of S. Market.

The caller said someone had attempted to break into the building but appeared to have been unsuccessful.

Nothing was reported taken.

Then, at around 9 :15 a.m., Officer Phipps responded to Design II in the 1200 block of S. Austin.

The caller said someone had broken into the business but didn’t appear anything was missing.

Both incidents are under investigation.

  1. And also don’t forget “spare the rod, spoil the child,” which in my opinion, the judges
    have ruined. No discipline, no respect! That also goes for kids in school. Teachers cannot lay a hand on anybody without dire consequences!!

  2. More & more of these crimes are being perpetuated. It appears the criminals work harder at committing crime than they would at a real job. With the more liberal attitudes that parents foster upon their children today and the drifting away from their religious upbringings, the moral compass is slowly being lost. Some actually look upon crime as their occupation with no guilt or remorse, and seem to carry their tools with them, anticipating their next “job”.

    1. I agree with you 100%. People have no values or accountability anymore. Also i believe more drugs in this community = more burglaries… Sad
