BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATE BURGLARY AND THEFT

  

Brenham Police are investigating a burglary and a theft from over the weekend.

Sunday morning, just after 2:30, Officer Sierra Newell responded to the 200 block of Rippetoe in reference to the burglary of a building.

The caller said he heard a noise and saw four men standing around his vehicle. He then heard a louder noise coming from his garage and as he ran out the side door of his house, found the door into his utility room had been kicked in.

He also said he saw five men running from this house. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Saturday evening around 6:00, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer responded to the 2600 block of Cantey St. in reference to a theft.

The caller said he had left his Yeti cooler in the back of his pickup truck overnight and someone had stolen it.

The cooler was estimated to cost $340.

Both incidents are under investigation.
