BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATE THEFTS
Brenham Police are investigating two thefts from this weekend.
On Saturday around 9:48am, Cpl. Edward Ortega responded to the 300 Block of Baylor Street in reference to a theft of copper.
The caller said that he had an industrial treadmill stored in the back of his building, and, upon checking on it, found that the cord and console to the treadmill had been stolen.
The caller said the items were valued at approximately $1,500.
On Sunday, around 7:38pm, Cpl. Steven Eilert responded to the 600 block of South Market in reference to a theft.
The caller said as he was helping a customer, a Hispanic male stole approximately $429 worth of tools.
The case is under investigation.
