BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATE THEFTS

  

Brenham Police are investigating a pair of thefts from over the weekend.

Friday morning around 6:30, Cpl. Lance Weiss and Officer Sierra Newell were called to the 700 block of Mansfield.

The caller said all four tires and rims were stolen off their Suburban, sometime overnight.

The case is under investigation.

Sunday afternoon, just after 1:30, Cpl. Steven Eilert was dispatched to the 2700 block of Woodridge Lane for the burglary of a vehicle.

The caller said the front passenger side window had been broken out and his wife’s purse with their credit cards had been stolen.

About 45 minutes later, Eilert was notified by Dispatch that the victim had received notification that approximately $3,000 had been charged on one of his credit cards.

The case remains under investigation.
