BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATE WEEKEND BURGLARIES
Brenham Police are investigating a pair of weekend burglaries.
Saturday afternoon, just after 4:30, Sgt. Kelvin Raven responded to the 200 block of E. Main St. in reference to the burglary of a motor vehicle.
The caller said someone had removed her backpack from her car through a window which was left open.
The backpack contained a chrome notebook valued at $400 and a class ring, valued at $900.
Then, around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Officer Sierra Newell responded to the 2400 block of S. Chappell Hill St. to a burglary of a habitation.
The caller said someone had broken into the home and stolen a 60 inch television valued at $1,000.
Both incidents are under investigation.
