BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING ROBBERY
Brenham Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a local man of his cell phone Wednesday night.
Corporal Justin Schiller wall called to the 200 block of US 290 West for a theft call Wednesday night around 7:00.
He met with the victim who said he was approached by an unknown man who asked to use his cell phone. The caller agreed, but the suspect then attempted to drive off with the phone.
The victim says he grabbed a hold of the driver’s window and the suspect took off, dragging the man on the ground until he lost his grip and fell.
Because the caller was injured in the commission of a theft, the offense became a robbery.
