BRENHAM POLICE LOOKING INTO BURGLARY
Brenham Police are investigating a local burglary.
Monday night, just after 5:00, Cpl. Jared Campbell responded to the 300 block of W. Jefferson in reference to the burglary of a habitation.
The caller said sometime early Monday morning someone broke into her home. She said she heard a noise and got up to check it out and believes she scared the suspect away.
Campbell found that a screen on the back door had been cut and a window pane opened to gain access.
Nothing was believed to have been taken in the burglary.
The incident is under investigation.
