BRENHAM POLICE MAKE DWI ARRESTS

  

 

A Waco man faces a DWI charge after his arrest in Brenham, this weekend.

Saturday night, Cpl. Justin Schiller was called to E. Main Street by Sgt. Lloyd Powell after a driver in one vehicle almost collided with Powell.

Schiller met with the driver, identified as 24-year old Cameron Lee Daniel of Waco, who Schiller says had the smell of alcohol on his breath, and nearly fell over when he got out of the vehicle.

.Schiller conducted a field sobriety test, which he says Daniel was unable to complete.

Daniel was arrested, charged with Driving While Intoxicated-over .15, and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Also, a Bellville woman also faces a DWI charge.

Friday, just before midnight, Officer Heather Sowders conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of US 290 E.

She says the driver’s speech was slurred and had the smell of alcohol on her breath.

Sowders reports that 23-year old Ericka Layne Laskoskie failed a field sobriety test.

Driving While Intoxicated and having an open container.
