BRENHAM POLICE MAKE MORE MARIJUANA ARRESTS
Brenham Police made several arrests for marijuana possession Tuesday.
Around 9:00 a.m., Officer Mark Pierce conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of A H Ehrig Dr. near Brenham High School.
During the stop, Pierce says he could smell marijuana.
As one of the passengers stepped out of the vehicle, he reportedly dropped a bag of marijuana.
18-year old David James Burdick of Brenham is charged with Possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
Also located in the vehicle were a large amount of various types of fireworks which are illegal inside the Brenham city limits.
Just before midnight Tuesday, Cpl. Steven Eilert responded to a noise complaint in the 1700 block of South Day.
The caller said there was a large party going on at the residence.
When Eilert arrived, he noted four people inside a parked car. As he approached the vehicle, Eilert says he could smell the strong odor of marijuana. During a search, marijuana was located and all four of the occupants were arrested.
Charged with Possession of marijuana are: 18-year old Trovaughn Danel Boggess and 18-year old Zsaterria Latrice Lewis, both of Houston, and 19-year old Brack Aaron Hardy and 19-year old Greg Christopher Bradley, both of Beaumont.
